Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Chronofill (“the Service”), a product operated by Aurae Core (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), based in the Republic of Maldives.

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

Chronofill helps you quickly extract and structure data from documents so that the data can be used to complete a downstream process. To do this, the Service provides, among other things:

• Upload and pre-processing of documents using tools such as OpenCV, PyMuPDF, and other document-processing libraries we use from time to time;
• Optical character recognition (OCR) and other text-extraction functionality;
• AI-assisted extraction, using artificial-intelligence models (including models provided by Anthropic / Claude) to identify and structure information;
• Profile, defaults, and preference management to speed up repeated work;
• Additional functionality that we may introduce over time, which may include (without limitation) invoice-creation tools and PDF-editing tools.

The specific features, scope, and behaviour of the Service may change at any time during this pre-launch period and afterwards.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

To use the Service you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate registration information and keeping it up to date;
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
• All activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us promptly at our contact form if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account where you have failed to maintain reasonable security.

Authentication is handled through a third-party provider (see Section 11). We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are being used in breach of these Terms.

Free trial

The Service is offered with a 14-day free trial providing free but limited usage. During the free trial we do not collect any billing or payment information.

Paid use

If you continue to use the Service after the free-trial period, you will be required to select a plan and pay for it in order to continue. Charges, plan limits, and quotas will be as described in the Service at the time you purchase. The merchant is Aurae Core, located in the Republic of Maldives, and all prices are charged in Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR), inclusive of GST.

Monthly plans and renewal

Monthly plans cover a 30-day billing period. Plans do not renew automatically and we never charge your card without you. Towards the end of each period we will remind you by email and in the app; to continue, you renew by making a new payment yourself. If you do not renew, your plan ends at the close of the period (with a short grace period during which access continues). Page packs are one-time purchases.

Payment processing and card security

Payments are processed by the Bank of Maldives (BML) through its BML Connect payment gateway. Card details are entered only on BML’s own secure, hosted payment page — they are never entered on, transmitted to, or stored by Chronofill, and we do not save cards for future payments. We receive only the transaction’s outcome and reference. By paying, you also agree to any applicable terms of the Bank of Maldives.

Delivery

Chronofill is a digital, online service. Nothing is shipped and no goods are imported or exported. Your plan or page pack is applied to your account immediately once your payment is confirmed, and you can use it straight away from any supported browser.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time from the Billing page. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy — in short, refund requests are made to our contact form within 14 days of the charge.

Your records

Please keep a copy of your transaction records (including the receipt shown by the Bank of Maldives) and of these Terms and our policies for your own reference.

Changes to pricing

Because the Service is in active development, pricing, plans, quotas, and trial terms may change. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes that affect you.

Taxes

You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or charges imposed by applicable law in connection with your use of the Service, other than taxes based on our income.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation, including the laws of the Republic of Maldives;
• Upload or process content you do not have the right to upload or process;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service or its infrastructure;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except to the extent permitted by law;
• Use the Service to develop a competing product, or resell or sublicense access without our written permission;
• Use automated means to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use or circumvents quotas or limits;
• Upload malicious code or content that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful.

We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have breached this Section.

Ownership

As between you and us, you retain ownership of the documents and data you upload (“Your Content”).

Licence to operate the Service

You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and handle Your Content solely to provide and operate the Service, including pre-processing, extraction, and the related functions described in these Terms.

Your warranties

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, consents, and lawful bases to upload Your Content and to allow us to process it as described, and that doing so does not violate any law or any third party’s rights. Where Your Content includes personal data of others, you are responsible for that data and for any required notices or consents.

Accuracy of output

AI-assisted extraction and processing can contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. The output of the Service is provided to assist you and must be reviewed and verified by you before you rely on it for any purpose, including any regulatory, customs, tax, financial, or legal filing. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of anything you submit to any authority or third party. See Section 9 and Section 10.

The Service relies on and integrates with third-party providers, which may include Anthropic (Claude / Claude Code), Clerk, Supabase, Vercel, Render, Upstash / Redis, and the Bank of Maldives (BML), among others. These providers operate under their own terms and policies.

We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability, content, or data practices of third-party providers. Any data they collect or process under their own policies is outside our responsibility to that extent. Your use of features that depend on third-party providers may be subject to their terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any output will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.
• We do not warrant that extracted data, OCR results, AI output, generated invoices, or edited documents are correct. You are responsible for verifying all output.
• Because the Service is in a pre-launch phase, it may be incomplete, change without notice, or be withdrawn at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• We will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
• We will not be liable for any errors or inaccuracies in extracted, generated, or processed output, or for any decisions, filings, or submissions you make in reliance on that output.
• We will not be liable for the acts, omissions, or data practices of third-party providers.
• Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amounts you paid to us for the Service in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) such minimum amount as may be required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy. In summary, uploaded documents and extracted data are generally retained for approximately 24 hours in the main Service, while our internal support and debugging tools may retain certain data for longer for support, security, billing, and development operations. Please review the Privacy Policy for full details.

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content (excluding Your Content), is owned by Aurae Core or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.

“Chronofill”, “Aurae Core”, and related names and logos are marks of the Company. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, if required by law, or if necessary to protect the Service, other users, or third parties.

You may stop using the Service and request account closure at any time by contacting our contact form. On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Section 7, Section 9, Section 10, Section 12, Section 14, and Section 15) will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Maldives, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that the courts of the Republic of Maldives will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, except where applicable law requires otherwise. The parties will first attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute informally by contacting legal@auraecore.com.

Because Chronofill is in active development and pre-launch, we may change these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, take additional steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

• Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
• Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of it.
• Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• Force majeure. We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
